President Mahama said in his remarks that “the Gas that we expect will be able to power an additional 1,100MW of power for Ghana. That is more than Akosombo. Akosombo is 1,020 MW and this gas will be sufficient to power 1,100MW. We expect that this field’s viable life should last between 15 and 20years.”<\/div>\n
