Female dancehall musician, Kaakie, has spoken publicly about an apology rendered to her by Shatta Wale, after the latter hurled insults at her over an award she won in 2013.<\/p>\n
Rendered some two years ago, Wale apologised for the invectives he hurled at the young lady after she beat him to an award at the 2013 Ghana Music Awards.<\/p>\n
Kaakie, who was good under the year in review, won the award for Reggae Dancehall Song of the Year<\/em>for the song \u2018Tofee Pon Tongue\u2019, much to Wale\u2019s chagrin, who was hoping to win with \u2018Shatta City\u2019.<\/p>\n He subsequently took to social media and launched a scathing attack on her person \u2013 in a way many thought was uncouth.<\/p>\n He posted: \u00a0\u201cF*** Kaakie who can\u2019t even write her own music and f*** her smelling p****\u2026 I know how they did this. But trust me, we know how to handle this.\u201d<\/p>\n He later apologized \u2013 and released a song in July 2013 to validate his plea for forgiveness.
