{"id":85153,"date":"2015-01-23T20:10:00","date_gmt":"2015-01-23T20:10:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=85153"},"modified":"2015-01-23T20:54:51","modified_gmt":"2015-01-23T20:54:51","slug":"twitter-reacted-gyans-winner-algeria","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=85153","title":{"rendered":"How Twitter reacted to Gyan&#8217;s winner against Algeria"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A last minute strike from Asamoah Gyan was enough to see the Black Stars beat a highly rated Algerian side and breathe back life into their African Cup of Nation campaign.<\/p>\n<p>The Al-Ain forward started the match for Ghana after recovering from illness that put him out of the 2-1 loss to Senegal in the first group match.<\/p>\n<p>After running unto a pass from Mubarak Wakaso, Gyan sent his shot into the net past Algerian goalie Rais Mbolhi&#8217;s right bottom corner of the net.<\/p>\n<p>The goal leaves the Black Stars second in Group C pending the final Group C game between South Africa and Senegal which kicks off at 1900GMT.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, observers of the match were active on several social media platforms and they gave various reactions to the goal:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" lang=\"en\"><p>In Ghana, what Asamoah Gyan just did is called scoring a &#8220;Mallam goal&#8221;.
