{"id":84128,"date":"2015-01-20T20:23:13","date_gmt":"2015-01-20T20:23:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=84128"},"modified":"2015-01-21T11:47:21","modified_gmt":"2015-01-21T11:47:21","slug":"mahama-woos-german-investors","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=84128","title":{"rendered":"Mahama woos German investors \u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>President John Dramani Mahama has urged German investors to invest in Ghana while assuring them of a massive turnover on their investments.<\/p>\n<p>According to the President, the nation offers huge opportunities in the energy and infrastructural development sectors of the economy \u00a0for German investors.<\/p>\n<p>[contextly_sidebar id=&#8221;7exS1Hp6CDcv7twyp0zmqcgWOrAgoxTE&#8221;]President Mahama was addressing an investment forum in Berlin as part of his state visit to Germany.<\/p>\n<p>President told the gathering of German chief executives of multinational companies that government had instituted some measures\u00a0to ensure that their investments were protected.<\/p>\n<p>He said \u201cGhana is ripe for doing business\u201d since Ghana is one of the most peaceful and politically stable country in Africa.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/mahama-with-german-investors.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-84132\" src=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/mahama-with-german-investors.jpg\" alt=\"mahama with german investors\" width=\"640\" height=\"323\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>According to him, the \u201cgovernment has over the years succeeded in laying a solid foundation by implementing policies and programmes that has significantly transformed the landscape of our country and created the enabling environment for the private sector to thrive.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He assured that government will continue to provide the wide range of incentive packages under the Ghana Investment Promotion Law and the Ghana Free Zone regime to further improve the business environment and promote investment for infrastructural development.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are also promoting public private partnership based on a new law approved by parliament in May 2013.
