Pressure Group, OccupyGhana is daring Minister of Food and Agriculture, \u00a0Fifi Kwetey to provide evidence that members of the group are affiliated to the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP).<\/p>\n
[contextly_sidebar id=”FWGjOViS601CK82zBvfg2ors5k8sdwc7″]The Ketu South Member of Parliament (MP) on Tuesday accused the pressure group of hiding their true political colours from the general public.<\/p>\n
He however admitted that although the criticisms from the group about government\u2019s handling of affairs are legitimate and \u201cmakes sense,\u201d the members working in the interest of the opposition NPP.<\/p>\n
He thus challenged them to openly make a declaration<\/strong> <\/a><\/span>of where they stand politically.<\/p>\n In response, a member of the group, Nana Kwaku Awuah told Citi News<\/strong> that Fifi Kwetey must back his accusations with evidence.<\/p>\n He asked; \u201cIf he says opposition, what does he mean by opposition? Is he referring to the PNC, is he referring to the CPP, the NPP? I mean, I\u2019m really at a loss.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI completely disagree with him on that call and he has no evidence to show,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n Mr. Awuah pointed out that it is easy to detect the true agenda of the group; which he said \u201chas always been for good governance.\u201d<\/p>\n According to him, OccupyGhana has always maintained a strict non-partisan character in all their events.<\/p>\n \u201cIt has nothing to do with partisanship, pushing or pursuing a partisan agenda,\u201d he insisted.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n By: Efua Idan Osam\/citifmonline.com\/Ghana
