In the war of roses, nobody wins, it\u2019s true&#8230;\u201d<\/p>\n<p>After the universal critical acclaim for his \u2018No Shortcut to Heaven\u2019 video featuring Obrafour, Ghana\u2019s rap champ, M.anifest is back with another visual for \u2018Mind Games\u2019, the latest off his Apae EP.<\/p>\n<p>[contextly_sidebar id=&#8221;Nzo66k9lZh5vifjt283rk4QbzcHL4j0R&#8221;]He trades the pans of a small-scale miner for the seeming comforts of a New York apartment in telling the tale of a complicated romance \u2013 a tale of two broken hearts.<\/p>\n<p>The video, which was shot in Brooklyn, New York, sees director Garth Von Glehn of Film Fam skilfully weaving\u00a0 between the happy and frustrating moments that characterize many romantic relationships.<\/p>\n<p>Von Glehn focuses on the emotional detail of a relationship\u2019s toughest times with stylistic elements of organic retro chic.<\/p>\n<p>An aesthetically minimalist video, we see the two protagonists, M.anifest and his love interest reminisce on the\u00a0 vicissitudes of relationships &#8211; happy to sad to angry all over again.
