The prime suspect in the murder of a 10-year-old boy in Sissala East in the Upper West Region has been arrested by the Police.<\/p>\n
[contextly_sidebar id=”5tcC6Bjqv2oqRaWSylUga5wqaDNhIREm”]The suspect, Abudulai, has been on the run after Police found the decomposed body of the little boy.<\/p>\n
He is believed to be the one who slashed the boy into pieces with a cutlass.<\/p>\n
The\u00a0five suspects who were early on arrested<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0<\/a>have however been granted bail by the Police following the arrest of Abudulai.<\/p>\n The Sisala East district Police Commander, ASP Benjamin Sumani in an interview with\u00a0Citi News<\/strong>\u00a0narrated that the Police had the information that the actual perpetrator who murdered the small boy had been found near the Navrongo-Bolga road.<\/p>\n \u201cAll the statements given to us tell us that it is the Abdullai guys who has been arrested was the person who committed the offence,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n According to ASP Sumani, the suspect upon arrest confessed to the crime but insisted it was self-defense.<\/p>\n \u201cHe has been arrested and I asked him what actually happened and he said the small boy was rather trying to slash him with a cutlass but he was fast enough to collect the cutlass from him and used the cutlass by cutting him into pieces,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
