I hear that some schools have been destroyed and therefore we are even destroying the future generation through these conflicts,\u201d he lamented.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">[contextly_sidebar id=&#8221;heK1y9ZaRhYfgENuS7MLPY7M7qySxJ4H&#8221;]He said government will vehemently oppose any move to turn the Nkonya-Alavanyo conflict into a civil unrest.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #666699;\"><a style=\"color: #666699;\" href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/2014\/12\/22\/2-left-seriously-injured-alavanyo-kpeme-shooting-police\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Several people have died<\/strong><\/a><\/span> while others have lost their properties in a sixty-year-old land dispute between the two feuding towns.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">However, government\u2019s efforts to end the seeming <span style=\"color: #666699;\"><a style=\"color: #666699;\" href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/2014\/12\/28\/nkonyaalavanyo-residents-defy-curfew-directive\/\">recurring clashes have proved futile<\/a>\u00a0b<\/span>ut, the Vice President has assured that\u00a0government will crash any attempt to escalate the conflict.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Addressing a meeting of chiefs and leaders from the Alavanyo-Nkonyo area, the Vice President said government will do all it can to end the decades old conflicts saying \u201cthe state will not allow one set of people in a community to subdue another set through the cause of arm because we have more arms than you have.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He said the Police and other security teams that have been detached to the area \u201chave more arms than the people in the community.
