{"id":81410,"date":"2015-01-12T05:29:41","date_gmt":"2015-01-12T05:29:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=81410"},"modified":"2015-01-11T22:41:30","modified_gmt":"2015-01-11T22:41:30","slug":"two-cops-nabbed-for-transporting-wee","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=81410","title":{"rendered":"Two cops nabbed for transporting wee"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"itemIntroText\">\n<p>Two police officers and a Nigerian have been nabbed by the Volta Regional Police Command for allegedly attempting to transport a large quantity of Indian hemp in a Police van to Togo.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"itemFullText\">\n<p>The suspects were arrested on Saturday dawn around 2:30am at a police check-point at Sokode-Lokoe near Ho after the police had a tip-off that they were trying to smuggle the substance to Togo.<\/p>\n<p>The compressed leaves were packed in the Nissan Navara Police pick-up and the suspects were on their way to Aflao from Have when they were arrested.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Their Identities\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The two Police men have been identified as Lance Corporal Fraizer, the one who was in charge of the vehicle and Sergeant Prosper Ametepe.<\/p>\n<p>According to sources L\/C Fraizer is a police driver stationed at the police training school in Ho while Sergeant Prosper Ametepe is an officer also stationed at Keta.<\/p>\n<p>The identity of their Nigerian accomplice is however not known yet.<\/p>\n<p>The three are currently being held in police custody at the regional headquarters for interrogation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Investigations\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>When the Daily-Graphic contacted the regional crime officer, Chief Superintendent Kofi Abraham, he confirmed the issue but could not give any detail because he said investigations had just begun.<\/p>\n<p>He however gave assurance that the media would be briefed on the matter at the appropriate time.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Source:<span style=\"color: #800080;\"> <a style=\"color: #800080;\" href=\"http:\/\/graphic.com.gh\/news\/general-news\/36748-two-cops-nabbed-transporting-hemp.html\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Graphic Online<\/strong><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Two police officers and a Nigerian have been nabbed by the Volta Regional Police Command for allegedly attempting to transport a large quantity of Indian hemp in a Police van to Togo.
