{"id":79039,"date":"2015-01-03T12:45:56","date_gmt":"2015-01-03T12:45:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=79039"},"modified":"2015-01-03T12:45:56","modified_gmt":"2015-01-03T12:45:56","slug":"fire-destroys-31-new-vehicles-tema","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=79039","title":{"rendered":"Fire destroys 31 new vehicles at Tema"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"itemIntroText\">\n<p>A fire that broke out on New Year\u2019s Day at the Stallion Industrial and Investment Company car park in Tema burnt 31 new saloon vehicles.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"itemFullText\">\n<p>[contextly_sidebar id=&#8221;FyVpKxaqflNnAVuSTOub6xGF8SsuEyKm&#8221;]14 other vehicles, which were also parked inside the car port, were partly destroyed.<\/p>\n<p>The Deputy National Public Relations Officer of the Ghana National Fire Service,(GNFS), Divisional Officer Prince Billy Anaglate told the Daily Graphic that the Service responded to a distress call around 3:52pm and within three minutes, the first fire engine from Industrial Area Station of the GNFS arrived at the scene.<\/p>\n<p>He said because of the intensity of the fire, three additional fire tenders and firefighters from Tema Community One and Ashaiman were called to help quench the fire.<\/p>\n<p>Mr Anaglate said the team finally extinguished the fire at about 8:05 pm.<\/p>\n<p>The workers of the facility who arrived at the scene looked on helplessly, as the fire was raging on.<\/p>\n<p>Mr Anaglate indicated that an investigation would be conducted to ascertain the cause.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Source: <a href=\"http:\/\/graphic.com.gh\/news\/general-news\/36325-fire-destroys-31-new-vehicles-at-tema.html\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #800080;\"><strong>Graphic Online<\/strong><\/span><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A fire that broke out on New Year\u2019s Day at the Stallion Industrial and Investment Company car park in Tema burnt 31 new saloon vehicles.
