Embattled hiplife artiste Kwaw Kese has been rushed to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital for the second time<\/strong><\/span><\/a> after complaining about stomach ache.<\/p>\n

Ernest Abban, the Senior Administrative Director at the hospital\u2019s Public Relations Unit in Kumasi confirmed this to citifmonline.com<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

He however told citifmonline.com<\/strong> that the rapper is \u201cresponding to treatment.\u201d<\/p>\n

The artiste has been charged for allegedly smoking in public, a substance suspected to be Indian hemp<\/strong><\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n

He was arrested by the Police in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region at a drinking spot close to the popular \u2018+2 Pub\u2019 in Nhyiaeso.<\/p>\n

On Tuesday a Circuit court in Kumasi denied Kwaw Kese bail for the fourth consecutive time<\/strong><\/span><\/a>, which means he will spend the Christmas and new year celebrations in jail.<\/p>\n

The case has been adjourned to January 5, 2015.<\/p>\n

Kwaw Kese campaigns against drugs<\/strong><\/p>\n

He has begun a massive campaign against the use of narcotic drugs by the youth.<\/p>\n

A joint statement signed by the management of Kwaw Kese and the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA), said Kwaw Kese remains committed to the \u2018Say No To Drugs Campiagn\u2019 as is evident in his support to Prisons and outreach programs each year.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHe \u00a0challenges the youth of Ghana \u201cto be positive, be patriotic and to do all they can to follow their dreams,\u201d the statement further said.<\/p>\n

The joint statement further called on Ghanaians to desist from making further statements that will be prejudicial in Kwaw Kese\u2019s quest for Justice.\u201d<\/p>\n
