\"nyantakyi-big-man\"<\/a>The Ministry of Youth and Sports have made public the full breakdown of expenditure for the Black Stars for the upcoming World Cup in Brazil.<\/p>\n

The decision to reveal the break down was after public demand to know how the cabinet approved GHS 24 million will be spent.<\/p>\n

Below is the breakdown of the budget.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Government has approved a budget of GH\u00a224,677,025.00<\/strong> for the Ghana\u2019s participation in the Tournament. Out of this, an amount of GH\u00a210,500,000<\/strong> has been earmarked for the qualifying stages of the Tournament. A further amount of GH\u00a214,177,025<\/strong> has also been budgeted to cover the team\u2019s expenses when they qualify for subsequent stages of the completion.<\/p>\n

This comes up to US$ 9,870,810<\/strong> in dollar terms.<\/p>\n

(c)\u00a0\u00a0 10 other supporting staff comprising a Team Administrator, a Media Officer, a Protocol Officer, an extra Doctor, an extra Physiotherapist, a Therapist, two National Security Operatives, two Caterers and a Drummer\/Entertainer; and<\/p>\n

(d)\u00a0 Management and other officials.<\/p>\n
