to go to the polls on December 20 in Kumasi<\/strong><\/a><\/span> to elect new national \u00a0executives to steer the party`s affairs.<\/p>\nThe General Secretary of the group, Efanam Nyaku advised that delegates to look beyond their personal association with aspirants and vote for leaders who will seek the common good of the party.<\/p>\n
\u201cDelegates should elect people who really have the capability and consciousness to work for the greater good of the party and constituencies.\u201d<\/p>\n
Mr. Nyaku further advised delegates to make choices that will reflect the constituency\u2019s interests adding \u201cpeople should not allow themselves to be influenced by material things as to elect wrong people into the leadership of the party because it will take another four years before another election.\u201d<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, ahead of the Congress, the Party has called on all members to see the event as a family gathering to choose leaders who will ensure their victory in 2016.<\/p>\n
Speaking to Citi News<\/strong>, the party\u2019s Director of Communications, James Asante advised party faithful to be peaceful.<\/p>\n\u201cIt is a family meeting and we expect everybody to come and share the joy and not indulge in anything that will put the name of the party in disrepute,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
