President John Dramani Mahama, has commended Ashanti Regional Police Commander, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCOP) Nathan Kofi Boakye, for what he described as quality leadership.<\/p>\n

DCOP Boakye has also given the regional police headquarters a major facelift.<\/p>\n
President Mahama could not hide his admiration for what he saw, when he toured the place on Tuesday and said it was something others should learn from.<\/p>\n
He noted that ensuring security is a collective responsibility and therefore encouraged the private sector to complement government\u2019s efforts.<\/p>\n
DCOP Boakye said the President\u2019s visit would inspire the police to continue to work hard with passion and dedication.<\/p>\n
He said whatever had been achieved could not have been possible with the support, understanding and cooperation of the people, adding that, he is optimistic that the goodwill would be sustained.<\/p>\n
