The cat born with two faces, named Frank and Louie, passed away on Dec. 4 at the age of 15 in Grafton, Massachusetts.<\/p>\n
Frank and Louie, who defied all odds, was also born with two mouths, two noses and three blue eyes.<\/p>\n
The cat\u2019s owner believes Frank and Louie died of cancer.<\/p>\n
Frank and Louie, a resident of Grafton, Masschusetts, died Dec. 4 at the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University, The Telegram of Worcesterreports.<\/p>\n
The feline\u2019s owner, Marty Stevens, revealed that Frank and Louie had been feeling a \u201clittle down\u201d around the Thanksgiving holiday. Frank and Louie was raced to the hospital after he got sicker.<\/p>\n
He\u00a0was euthanized after veterinarians told her that he was suffering from cancer.
\nThe feline made history and into the 2012 edition of the Guinness Book of World Records as the oldest Janus cat, which is named for a Roman god born with two faces, according to the\u00a0Associated Press.<\/p>\n
Frank and Louie was a miracle cat. He lived life pretty much like a normal cat. His most challenging problem throughout his life was only neutering and teeth removal. Janus cats usually have a low survival rate and suffer from congenital defects.<\/p>\n
Despite her loss, Marty is open to adopting another Janus cat.<\/p>\n
\u201cI would love to do it again,\u201d she told The Telegram.<\/p>\n
