Police in Kumasi have arrested one person in connection with the murder of an Ecobank branch manager of Ghana in the Ashanti Region.<\/p>\n
The suspect is currently assisting with \u00a0investigations.<\/p>\n
\u201cAs of now, we have not been able to arrest the perpetrators, but we have arrested one person who is assisting us with investigations and we have also declared a reward of 5,000 to anybody whose information will lead to the arrest of the perpertrators,\u201dthe Public Relations Officer of the Ashanti Regional Police, Yussif Tanko said<\/p>\n
The Police have also assured they will smoke out the murderers of the manager.<\/p>\n

The Police have promised a 5000 cedis reward<\/strong> <\/span><\/a>for\u00a0 anyone who provides information leading to the arrest of the culprits.<\/p>\n Narrating the incident to Citi News<\/strong>, Yussif Tanko \u00a0said the deceased was shot while praying at dawn in his hall.<\/p>\n \u201cAccording to his wife, they were sleeping so around 2: 30 pm therabout, because he is a pastor he wakes up and prays and when he went to the hall, all that she heard was; don\u2019t remove the mask, don\u2019t remove the mask, and the first thing she heard was \u00a0gunshot so she rushed there, and found him lying there in a pool of blood with three men holding guns.\u201d<\/p>\n He said the armed men also bolted away with GHC350 , an iPad and a laptop.<\/p>\n \u201cThey took an iPad that belonged to the deceased… and they bolted so she quickly called people and made a report.\u201d<\/p>\n There have been similar incidents recorded in Kumasi in 2014.<\/p>\n A similar incident also happened in Accra where a 32 year old Stanbic Bank worker was killed at Batsona in Accra.<\/p>\n Hiplife artiste Kwaw Kesse’s manager Fennec Okyere<\/strong> <\/span><\/a>was also killed in a similar fashion.<\/p>\n
