{"id":65966,"date":"2014-11-17T18:30:15","date_gmt":"2014-11-17T18:30:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=65966"},"modified":"2014-11-17T20:53:00","modified_gmt":"2014-11-17T20:53:00","slug":"cocaine-woman-traveled-with-austrian-passport-nacob","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=65966","title":{"rendered":"&#8216;Cocaine woman&#8217; traveled with Austrian passport &#8211; NACOB"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Narcotics Control Board (NACOB) has revealed that the Ghanaian woman who was arrested in the UK with cocaine traveled from the Kotoka International Airport on an Austrian passport.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">NACOB reiterated that the lady did not travel on a <span style=\"color: #666699;\"><a style=\"color: #666699;\" href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/2014\/11\/16\/ghanaian-woman-busted-for-carrying-cocaine\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>diplomatic passport<\/strong><\/a><\/span>\u00a0after she was busted with about 12.kg of cocaine at the Heathrow airport.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">[contextly_sidebar id=&#8221;UGYrzn5oZBjTaEqNH9jzasZPopOoqpW9&#8243;]According to a press release signed by the Deputy Executive Secretary, Richard Nii Lante Blankson, he clarified saying, \u201cit is worthy to note that Ms. Nayele Ametefe travelled on an Austrian passport number P4187659 and not on Ghanaian Diplomatic passport as being speculated. She also had in her possession an ordinary Ghanaian passport number G0364497 issued on 3<sup>rd<\/sup> August, 2012.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">They added that she \u201cwas arrested on the 10<sup>th<\/sup> of November, 2014 through the collaborative effort of the Narcotics Control Board (NACOB) and its British partners.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">NACOB added that Ms. Ametefe flew \u201cfirst class using British Airways points. The ticket she purchased on October 8, 2014 had been altered three times.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">They further explained that \u201cin her possession she had two (2) suitcases. Only one (1) of the suitcase was checked in (Buggage tag number BA 059801) and nothing of interest was found. In the other suitcase which was believed to be hand carried onto the plane, 10kgs of cocaine was found among her clothing. The cocaine were wrapped in on kilo blocks.
