Reality TV star Kim Kardashian is set to make an appearance on the Indian version of Big Brother, a spokesperson for the channel airing the show says.<\/p>\n
Kardashian will join the remaining 12 participants on the programme, known as Bigg Boss, in Mumbai on Saturday.<\/p>\n
Kardashian is a household name in the UK and the US, best known for reality shows and a leaked sex tape.<\/p>\n
Former Baywatch star Pamela Anderson and late reality TV star Jade Goody have also appeared on Bigg Boss.<\/p>\n
The 34-year-old Kardashian, who is visiting India this week for the first time, will appear in Bigg Boss as a “guest to interact with the contestants”, a statement by the Colors channel said.<\/p>\n
“Namaste India… main Kim Kardashian aa rahi hoon India… Bigg Boss ke ghar mein [Hello India, I am Kim Kardashian and I am coming to the Bigg Boss house],” the statement quoted Kardashian as saying.<\/p>\n
The eighth season of the programme started in October.<\/p>\n
Among the Indian participants in the house this year are a number of models and TV actors. The show is hosted by Bollywood star Salman Khan.<\/p>\n
Last week, 34-year-old Kardashian appeared nude on the latest cover of Paper magazine with the caption ‘Break the Internet’.<\/p>\n
Hundreds of thousands discussed Kardashian’s body and she was the butt of many jokes as parody images circulated online.<\/p>\n
