{"id":62978,"date":"2014-11-07T13:24:39","date_gmt":"2014-11-07T13:24:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=62978"},"modified":"2014-11-07T13:24:39","modified_gmt":"2014-11-07T13:24:39","slug":"relatives-ali-gabass-assault-journalists-court","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=62978","title":{"rendered":"Relatives of Ali Gabass assault journalists in court"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Some journalists were assaulted by relatives of Ali Gabass at the Cocoa Affairs Court on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>According to<strong> Citi FM&#8217;s<\/strong> Fred Dajabanor, the &#8220;two journalists who were from TV3 and Multi TV, were beaten up when they attempted taking photos and videos of Ali Gabass&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The medical doctor, Ali Gabass\u00a0who \u00a0is standing trail for allegedly sodomising a minor was earlier <span style=\"color: #666699;\">r<a style=\"color: #666699;\" href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/2014\/10\/24\/doctor-remanded-for-sodomy\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>emanded in prison custody until November 7, 2014. <\/strong><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p>An Accra Circuit Court ordered his remand for further investigations into the case.<\/p>\n<p>[contextly_sidebar id=&#8221;X6PGmI5UmPH5JWVkgZ76RTnlByj0hucW&#8221;]The victim reportedly met Ali Gabass on Facebook.<\/p>\n<p>They are said to have chatted online and communicated on phone for a while.<\/p>\n<p>The suspect subsequently arranged and met the victim at the Kasoa Market area last year where he forcibly had sex with him in his car.<\/p>\n<p>On December 28, 2013, the suspect again met the victim and had sex with him.<\/p>\n<p>Three health bodies, including a regulator, earlier assured <a href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/2014\/10\/23\/we-wont-shield-ali-gabass-gma-health-service-medical-council\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #666699;\"><strong>Ghanaians that they will not shield Dr Sulley Ali-Gabass<\/strong><\/span><\/a> from any legal process being pursued by mandated constitutional bodies in his alleged sodomy case.<\/p>\n<p>In a related development, Ali Gabass has pleaded not guilty to the charges levelled against him.<\/p>\n<p>He has been remanded in prison custody and is expected to re-appear in Court on November, 25, 2014.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>By: Marian Efe Ansah\/citifmonline.com\/Ghana<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Some journalists were assaulted by relatives of Ali Gabass at the Cocoa Affairs Court on Friday.
