{"id":62589,"date":"2014-11-06T10:56:04","date_gmt":"2014-11-06T10:56:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=62589"},"modified":"2014-11-06T11:25:11","modified_gmt":"2014-11-06T11:25:11","slug":"volta-mmdces-elated-over-security-measures","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=62589","title":{"rendered":"Volta MMDCEs elated  over security measures\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs) in the Volta Region have welcomed a decision by the Regional Minister, <span style=\"color: #666699;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #666699;\" href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/2014\/11\/05\/volta-mmdces-will-be-protected-minister\/\" target=\"_blank\">Helen Ntoso to provide them with additional security<\/a><\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to them the move will help DCE\u2019s all over the country to perform their duties without fear or favour.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The MMDCEs in the Region called on the <span style=\"color: #666699;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #666699;\" href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/2014\/11\/05\/volta-mmdces-appeal-for-security\/\" target=\"_blank\">President to provide them with adequate security<\/a><\/strong><\/span> in the discharge of their duties in the wake of the murder of their colleague from Nkwanta South.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">[contextly_sidebar id=&#8221;lVpyh9JMx1amdHpt8SstHqYTvFa4rY9Y&#8221;]Following the request, the Regional Minister, Helen Ntoso promised that government will make sure they have additional security.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Agortime Ziope, Michael Komla Adjaho who doubles as the dean of the regions MMDCE\u2019s said the provision of security will help them serve the country better.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cWe are talking about providing security in our residence. My honorable colleague who was murdered if there were security in his residence he wouldn\u2019t have been murdered at his residence. It would not have happened. As a government appointee, not that you are traveling, a police is in your vehicle going up and down.
