Citi News <\/strong>narrated\u00a0that the DCE returned to his home from town with his personal assistant.<\/p>\n\u201cAs soon as he parked his vehicle, he was looking for his mobile phone which he couldn\u2019t find so he asked his personal assistant to enter his room and bring the torch light. Then he left his driver side [door] and the passenger side [door] to go and look for his phone,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhen he opened the door then suddenly the gun went off. It hit the back of the neck to shoulder and then wounded him seriously. We took the body to the hospital and he was pronounced dead.\u201d<\/p>\n
The Police insisted that the shooting incident is “an assassination case” because it was \u201cnot robbers, they didn\u2019t enter anywhere.\u201d<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, Member of Parliament for the area, Gershon Kofi Gbediame told Citi News<\/strong> the Police are trying to hunt down the killers.<\/p>\n\u201cI was with him the whole day; we only departed about 5pm. I am very sad,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Mr. Gbediame also revealed that there is tension in the town and called for re-enforcement of security personnel in the area.<\/p>\n
