<\/p>\nPresident John Mahama and his counterpart from Togo, President Faure Gnassigbe will today, Monday, November 3 inaugurate a joint Ghana Togo border post at Noefe in the Volta Region.<\/p>\n
This is an initiative by the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) to reduce the frustrations at the borders and facilitate trade between member states.<\/p>\n

Citi News<\/strong> Richard Mensah who is currently at Noefe reported that the inauguration will \u201chave Ghanaian and Togolese Immigration officials at the same post within the same office so that it facilitate easy transaction.\u201d<\/p>\n He said \u201canyone who is familiar with the border post knows that first you start from your country and to the host country so you are likely to encounter two different kinds of immigration personnel from each other country.
