The Chief Executive Officer of Starbow, Mr Eric. Antwi confirming the incident to Citi News<\/strong>\u00a0said \u201cwith this hydraulic failure\u201d they couldn\u2019t continue the journey hence making an emergency landing.”<\/p>\n He said because of the high speed ramps at the airport, there were fumes from the tyres but the fire service quickly rushed to the scene to return things to normalcy.<\/p>\n \u201cIn doing so we made sure everybody was safe we had to do evacuation. Everybody was ok just that we had two passengers that were slightly injured which is under control now. It was just bruises. I\u2019m sure they will probably be discharged today or tomorrow,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n Mr. Eric Antwi\u00a0however apologized for the incident.<\/p>\n He added that \u201cwe actually work diligently before we take off making sure our flights are in good condition before we fly.\u201d<\/p>\n There were reportedly about 77 passengers on board.<\/p>\n This is the second time<\/strong> <\/a><\/span>the Starbow airline has recorded such an incident.<\/p>\n On August 9, 2014, a Kumasi bound Starbow aircraft was forced to land shortly after taking off because\u00a0it developed a fault mid-air.<\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n
