Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo won a hat-trick of awards in Monday night\u2019s LFP gala, which included being named the ‘Best Player in La Liga.’<\/p>\n
The Portuguese star also received the \u2018Best Forward of La Liga\u2019 award for last season\u2019s performances, while receiving the prize for \u2018Best Goal\u2019 of the campaign thanks to his superb backheel volley against Valencia in May.<\/p>\n
After scoring 31 goals in 30 games for Los Blancos, Ronaldo admitted it was “spectacular” to receive three awards and was keen to achieve a similar feat in next year\u2019s gala.<\/p>\n
Elsewhere in La Liga, Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone claimed the \u2018Best Coach\u2019 award after guiding his side to their first league title since 1996.<\/p>\n
Ronaldo’s team-mate Luka Modric was named as La Liga\u2019s ‘Best Midfielder’, while Barcelona vice-captain Andres Iniesta was awarded with the ‘Best Attacking Midfielder’ prize.<\/p>\n
Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas, who played for Levante throughout last campaign, won the ‘Best Goalkeeper’ award while his Bernabeu team-mate Sergio Ramos was given the ‘Best Defender’ award.<\/p>\n
In the Liga Adelante, Spain’s second tier, Newcastle United forward Ayoze Perez capped off a superb week by scooping two awards following his impressive season at Tenerife.<\/p>\n
After scoring the winner against Tottenham on Sunday, the 21-year-old was named the league\u2019s ‘Best Revelation Player’ and the ‘Best Attacking Midfielder’ after scoring 16 goals for the Canary Island side during the 2013\/14 campaign – performances which earned him a move to the Premier League in the summer.<\/p>\n
