A woman pulled a gun on a man who was allegedly raping her dog.<\/p>\n
Alice Woodruff discovered a naked man in her Connecticut garden when she went to check on her bull terrier, Layla.<\/p>\n
She initially believed Layla had attacked the man, then realised the bizarre reality.<\/p>\n
Ms Woodruff pulled out a gun and fired a warning shot, report WTNH.com.<\/p>\n
But the man didn\u2019t move so she waited for the police to arrive.<\/p>\n
\u2018I started to scream,\u2019 she told WTNH.com.<\/p>\n
\u2018You have to get out of here. He said \u201cno, today is the day we are going to spend the rest of our lives together\u201d.\u2019<\/p>\n
The man is currently undergoing a mental health assessment.<\/p>\n
