Bernardino Koku Avle, host of the Citi Breakfast Show – the CIMG Radio Programme of the year 2013, has been invited to the United States of America for the Murrow Program.<\/p>\n
The U.S. Department of State\u2019s Edward R. Murrow Program for Journalists brings more than 75 international print, broadcast, and digital media journalists to the United States each year to share journalistic practices, examine foreign affairs reporting, and build networks with media professionals in the United States.<\/p>\n
The program is an innovative public-private partnership between the Department of State and several top U.S. schools of journalism.<\/p>\n
[contextly_sidebar id=”1SymdE9tP73ZHGwIWVdU8ccmLuTNCxAJ”]Bernard is one of 14 journalists and media practitioners from Africa attending the program.<\/p>\n
