The Progressive People\u2019s Party (PPP) regional elections is underway in Koforidua in the Eastern region.<\/p>\n

The elections will offer party executives an opportunity to elect regional executives to steer the affairs of the party.<\/p>\n

\u201cToday is the day, we are conducting the final elections in the region…We have done polling stations, we have done constituencies, we are conducting the regional,\u201dhe added.<\/p>\n

Positions to be contested for at the elections include the National Organizer, the Regional Organizer, Regional Chairman,\u00a0Vice Chairpersons and the Regional Secretary .<\/p>\n

Mr Sam said \u201call card-bearing members\u201d \u00a0are expected to vote at the election.<\/p>\n

The party will also hold its National Convention to elect National Officers of the party on Saturday 13th<\/sup>\u00a0December, 2014 at Tema in the Greater Accra Region.<\/p>\n

The Central Regional branch of the party recently conducted its regional elections.<\/p>\n

Andrew Sefa, a native of Cape Coast was elected<\/strong> <\/span><\/a>as the Central Regional Chairman of the party at a delegates\u2019 conference in Winneba early this month.<\/p>\n
