A group calling itself Coalition of Unpaid Nurses has served notice to sue government over their unpaid salaries.<\/p>\n
The nurses claim they have not received their salaries for the past fifteen months.<\/p>\n
The group made up of over one thousand registered nurses says the situation has brought untold hardship on\u00a0them and their families.<\/p>\n
[contextly_sidebar id=”NGUw6cpVWj5Ad27dy7326c64ppSuJCrb”]Speaking in an interview with Citi news<\/strong>, the National Coordinator for the group, Jefferson Asare Danquah indicated that they will also demand interest accrued on the unpaid salaries when the suit is finally filed.<\/p>\n He lamented that; \u201cgovernment have deliberately not paid our salaries for all these months of work and the little that he has paid only three months out of the 18 months.
