This years Music of Black Origin (MOBO) Awards had singers Jessie J, Mel B, Nicole Scherzinger and Tulisa Contostavlos lighting up the red carpet to kick the event in motion.<\/p>\n
Jessie J also got the event to an exciting start by opeing with a medley of her songs Bang Bang and Burning Up.<\/p>\n
UK based Ghanaian international musician, Fuse ODG, won the Best African Act, making it the second successive time he’s grabbing that award.<\/p>\n
The 19th MOBO Awards saw Sam Smith scooping the highest number of awards, including Album of the Year.<\/p>\n
