{"id":57876,"date":"2014-10-20T14:10:15","date_gmt":"2014-10-20T14:10:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=57876"},"modified":"2014-10-20T14:53:35","modified_gmt":"2014-10-20T14:53:35","slug":"addai-nimoh-begs-to-join-nana-addos-campaign","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=57876","title":{"rendered":"Addai Nimoh begs to join Nana Addo&#8217;s campaign"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A defeated New Patriotic Party(NPP) Presidential Aspirant, Francis Addae Nimoh has expressed willingness to join Nana Akufo- Addo in his campaign to win the 2016 general elections.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking to <strong>Citi News<\/strong> after paying a visit to Nana Addo at his private residence in Accra, Mr. Addae Nimoh said he can work with Nana Addo to ensure that he becomes President of Ghana.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;There is one common purpose for all of us and that is to secure power in 2016 ,so any role, any quality that I have, that I can bring to bare on the party for success in 2016, that is what I\u2019m looking up to\u2026&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/ADDAI-AND-NANA-ADDO.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-57878\" src=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/ADDAI-AND-NANA-ADDO.jpg\" alt=\"ADDAI AND NANA ADDO\" width=\"768\" height=\"470\" srcset=\"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/ADDAI-AND-NANA-ADDO.jpg 768w, https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/ADDAI-AND-NANA-ADDO-300x183.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Before the party&#8217;s national delegates congress to elect a flagbearer, some of the party&#8217;s heavy weights impressed on Addai Nimoh and Alan Kyeremanten to step down and allow Nana Addo to contest unopposed but he refused, and insisted he could win the flagbearership slot.<\/p>\n<p>[contextly_sidebar id=&#8221;JM3fXJ4q1FkcLe7mFmGS0IbL8pJ7xhSU&#8221;]Nana Addo on Saturday\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/2014\/10\/18\/nana-addo-is-npp-flagbearer-again\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #666699;\"><strong>eased to victory with 94.35% of the votes<\/strong><\/span><\/a> cast, while his closest contender Alan Kyeremanten received 4.75%.<\/p>\n<p>Addai Nimoh on the other hand obtained a paltry 0.91% of the votes.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Nimoh is however optimistic that his experience can help Nana Addo to bring the NPP back into government.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c\u2026I took the opportunity to come to his residence to reaffirm my unflinching support to him and to the party in general,&#8221; he added.<\/p>\n<p>Nana Addo on his part thanked Mr. Addae Nimoh for his reposing confidence in him.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m grateful for this visit, thank you very much. I think that this is the spirit and values of our party.
