Ghana begin the action on Sunday in Group B where they are paired with South Africa, Cameroon and Algeria the tournament in Namibia from 11-24 October.<\/p>\n

The Black Queens, three-time runners up have failed to come out of their group in 2008 and 2010 before failing to qualify for the 2012 tournament.<\/p>\n
And when they open their group campaign against Algeria as they return to the Championship, the hopes of Basigi will be to get off to a flying start at the Independence Stadium in Windhoek.<\/p>\n
After graduating through the youth ranks, players like Faiza Ibrahim, Samira Suleiman, Elizabeth Cudjoe and Mercy Myles carry the hopes of an expectant nation.<\/p>\n
Though chasing their debut title and a fine start, the Black Queens will also be pushing for qualification for the FIFA Women’s World Cup to be held in Canada from 6 June to 5 July, 2015.<\/p>\n
The top three nations from Championship will represent Africa in Canada.<\/p>\n
