<\/a><\/p>\nA woman in the congregation, who, according to the church led by\u00a0Pastor Lesego Daniel,\u00a0was\u00a0“under the influence of the Holy Spirit,” got out of \u00a0her seat mid-service, started munching on the flowers and was promptly followed by other members of the congregation who were also under the influence.<\/p>\n
The pastor then declared that everyone who ate the flowers would be healed from “any sickness or demon” that was inside them.<\/p>\n
A member of the congregation, Maria Kukutje, 42,\u00a0claimed she had been healed of pains in the left side of her body after eating the flowers.<\/p>\n [contextly_sidebar id=”iNBNP3EULgoh0S4rUh5Kgw7rB5cjOEbM”]According to the church, “no negative effects were reported by those who ate the flowers.”<\/p>\n Pastor Lesego Daniel and his church attracted attention earlier this year after he directed members of his congregation ton eat grass in order\u00a0to ‘be closer’ to God.<\/p>\n Photos taken at the event appear to show show several people getting sick, presumably after eating the grass.<\/p>\n Pastor Lesego’s methods have drawn lots of criticism from numerous people who say they are dangerous and put the lives of the members of his congregation at risk.<\/p>\n In September, he\u00a0made some of his church members drink a liquid believed to be petrol<\/strong><\/span><\/a> after claiming he miraculously turned it into pineapple juice.<\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n
