{"id":48882,"date":"2014-09-18T14:26:50","date_gmt":"2014-09-18T14:26:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=48882"},"modified":"2014-09-18T16:25:54","modified_gmt":"2014-09-18T16:25:54","slug":"seek-approval-before-demolition-structures-mmdas-told","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=48882","title":{"rendered":"Seek approval before demolishing structures- MMDAs told"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development, has directed Chief Executive Officers of Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies (MMDAs) to seek ministerial approval before embarking on any demolition exercise in their communities.<\/p>\n<p>A number of <a href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/2014\/03\/09\/residents-of-u-compound-demonstrates\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #666699;\"><strong>demolition exercises<\/strong><\/span><\/a> have <a style=\"text-decoration:none; color: #333;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.buycheap-pillsonline.com\/cipro.html\">purchase ciprofloxacin online<\/a> been carried out in different areas across the country, which have rendered thousands of residents homeless.<\/p>\n<p>[contextly_sidebar id=&#8221;pbNK4AM6vfooLnROcBGW7mtsPFXVezIi&#8221;]In the Greater Accra Region, the Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) recently\u00a0<span style=\"color: #666699;\"><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/2014\/09\/06\/ama-halts-demolition-at-arts-center\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #666699;\">demolished a slum, Mensah Guinea<\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/span>, behind the Arts Center due to the poor insanitary conditions there.
