{"id":48468,"date":"2014-09-17T09:30:47","date_gmt":"2014-09-17T09:30:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=48468"},"modified":"2014-09-17T09:30:47","modified_gmt":"2014-09-17T09:30:47","slug":"ukraine-activists-throw-mp-in-bin","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=48468","title":{"rendered":"Ukraine activists throw MP in bin"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>An angry mob outside the Ukrainian parliament in Kiev threw MP Vitaly Zhuravsky into a rubbish bin on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>According to the\u00a0Russian\u00a0news agency ITAR-Tass, Mr Zhuravskyi was an adviser to the country&#8217;s pro-Russian former president Viktor Yanukovych who was ousted earlier this year after months of anti-government protests.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Activists have accused him of authorising a controversial defamation law, which journalists said was restricting the country&#8217;s media freedom.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>The footage, which was posted on YouTube on Tuesday, shows Mr Zhuravskyi being seized by protesters as he walked through a crowd.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>He is then pushed towards a large metal bin, before being picked up and bundled into it.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Every time he tries to get up and climb out, he is pushed back down into the bin.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>&#8220;I&#8217;m doing my job,&#8221; he can be heard shouting at one point.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;You are doing your job? But we live in this country and look at the ongoing bloodshed,&#8221; one of the activists replies.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Honour to\u00a0Ukraine! Honour to the heroes! Who will be the next?
