{"id":47486,"date":"2014-09-15T06:00:16","date_gmt":"2014-09-15T06:00:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=47486"},"modified":"2014-09-15T06:06:34","modified_gmt":"2014-09-15T06:06:34","slug":"tests-on-latest-ebola-suspected-case-to-be-out-on-wednesday","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=47486","title":{"rendered":"Tests on latest Ebola suspected case to be out on Wednesday"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Noguchi Memorial Institute is expected to release results of Ghana\u2019s 38<sup>th<\/sup> suspected Ebola case on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>This follows the submission of blood samples of a <a href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/2014\/09\/14\/ghana-investigates-latest-suspected-ebola-case\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #666699;\"><strong>Nigerian who reported to the Achimota hospital<\/strong><\/span><\/a> on Sunday with severe hemorrhagic fever.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Citi News<\/strong> has gathered that the said patient has in the past 10 days been to Nigeria, one of the countries hit by the disease in West Africa.<\/p>\n<p>Ghana has investigated 37 suspected Ebola cases so far, but all turned out negative.<\/p>\n<p>[contextly_sidebar id=&#8221;EO9rnMzf2VwZ3Elrzyw9SuX85QAxzWK1&#8243;]The Head of Disease Surveillance of the Ghana Health Service (GHS), Dr Badu Sakordie said the Service is closely monitoring the situation<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are yet to follow up on the issue.
