A former Director of Finance and Administration of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwadwo Opare Hammond is threatening legal action against the party if he is not reinstated immediately.<\/p>\n
Mr. Opare Hammond was asked to proceed on leave for\u00a0alleged financial impropriety and disobedience to the National Chairman, Paul Afoko.<\/p>\n
He has since denied the allegation. The Constitutional Committee of the Party, issued a report on Tuesday recommending that the leadership of the party reinstate<\/strong><\/span> <\/b><\/a>Mr. Opare Hammond and Perry Okudzeto.<\/p>\n [contextly_sidebar id=”69zk0dzJSMvaI8XogHLtpoTxGlGhFGG6″]But a press statement issued by the General Secretary of the party, Kwabena Agyepong, on Thursday, urged party members and the public to disregard the report<\/strong>.<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n Speaking to Citi News<\/strong> however, Mr. Opare Hammond said he will be compelled to go to court if the matter is not resolved.<\/p>\n \u201cI am only trying to use the channel that is available to me in the party\u2019s constitution.
