The former General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie has predicted a landslide victory for Nana Akufo Addo in the party\u2019s upcoming delegates\u2019 congress.<\/p>\n
Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie also known as Sir John believes Nana Addo will get 90 percent of the total votes that will be cast on Sunday.<\/p>\n
Speaking at a meeting of delegates in the Volta Region, Sir John also expressed the hope that Nana Akufo Addo will also \u201crescue Ghanaians from the quagmire that they find themselves in.”<\/p>\n
“It is not about Nana Akufo Addo, it is about the numerous unemployed graduates in this country, it is for their sake that Nana Akufo Addo should be there.<\/p>\n
It is for the sake of our mothers and fathers who are selling in the market,\u201d the former General Secretary opined.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, the 2012 presidential candidate for the party, Nana Akufo Addo says he is hopeful he will win the upcoming primaries.<\/p>\n
\u201cI am hoping that godwilling if I win the primaries, we will oppose the main campaign in the same way,\u201dhe said.<\/p>\n
He further revealed that the party, as part of its measures to win the 2016 elections, has resolved to appoint various representatives in the various regions to spearhead the party\u2019s policies.<\/p>\n
