{"id":41389,"date":"2014-08-24T08:00:57","date_gmt":"2014-08-24T08:00:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=41389"},"modified":"2014-08-24T06:22:26","modified_gmt":"2014-08-24T06:22:26","slug":"bass-awards-pushed-to-december","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=41389","title":{"rendered":"Bass Awards pushed to December"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>The annual Bass Awards which was scheduled to come off next week Saturday, August 30, has been postponed to December,the organisers, Rackus Production, has said in a statement.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>According to the Communications Director of Rackus Productions, Gabriel Boateng, the event was adjourned to ensure better preparation for the event.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn line with our policy to make this year\u2019s awards bigger and better, it has become necessary to reschedule the event to December after consultation with our partners to ensure all the needed logistics and elements are in place.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAlso, we have to ensure that the production team is fully prepared to execute a good show,\u201d Mr Boateng said.<\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s awards, unlike last year\u2019s, the organisers say, will take the form of a day\u2019s festival. \u00a0The event starts in the morning with performances for upcoming reggae and dancehall artistes.
