{"id":40468,"date":"2014-08-20T10:00:21","date_gmt":"2014-08-20T10:00:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=40468"},"modified":"2014-08-20T10:24:56","modified_gmt":"2014-08-20T10:24:56","slug":"ndc-not-to-blame-for-npp-crisis","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=40468","title":{"rendered":"NDC not to blame for NPP crisis"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has dismissed accusations by the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Chairman, Paul Afoko that the thugs who disrupted Tuesday&#8217;s press conference at the party&#8217;s headquarters were members of the NDC.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/2014\/08\/19\/npp-press-conference-turns-bloody\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">The party\u2019s press conference was disrupted <\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/span>when some angry youth threatened to beat up the General Secretary of the party, Kwabena Agyapong for ordering the party\u2019s acting Communication\u2019s Director, Perry Okudzeto to proceed on leave.<\/p>\n<p>Paul Afoko alleged that <span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/2014\/08\/19\/ndc-intruders-disrupted-npp-press-confab-paul-afoko\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">members of the NDC besieged the party\u2019s headquarters and caused mayhe<\/span><\/a>m.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>But speaking to <strong>Citi News<\/strong>, the General Secretary of the NDC, George Lawson described the allegations as a \u201cblatant lie\u201d, adding that the NDC party members are \u201cbusily campaigning for their elections and have no time for the NPP.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He further urged the NPP to resolve its internal bickering and shun the blame game.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>By: Marian Efe Ansah\/citifmonline.com\/Ghana<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has dismissed accusations by the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Chairman, Paul Afoko that the thugs who disrupted Tuesday&#8217;s press conference at the party&#8217;s headquarters were members of the NDC.
