{"id":40149,"date":"2014-08-19T09:52:38","date_gmt":"2014-08-19T09:52:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=40149"},"modified":"2014-08-19T10:35:41","modified_gmt":"2014-08-19T10:35:41","slug":"tertiary-institutions-to-establish-ebola-isolation-centres","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=40149","title":{"rendered":"Tertiary institutions to establish Ebola isolation centres"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>All tertiary institutions in the country will establish Ebola screening and isolation centres on their various campuses to curb a possible outbreak of the disease in the country.<\/p>\n<p>The decision was taken at a meeting between the Chief of Staff at the Presidency, Prosper Bani and heads of all tertiary institutions in the country.<\/p>\n<p>Government earlier<a href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/2014\/08\/12\/re-opening-of-tertiary-institutions-postponed-over-ebola\/\" target=\"_blank\"> <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff; text-decoration: underline;\">postponed the re-opening date<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/a> of all public and private tertiary institutions to tackle any threats of Ebola.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking to <b>Citi News<\/b>, the Deputy Minister of Education in charge of tertiary institutions, Mr. Ablakwa said government has conducted a data analysis of all international students.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are also looking at the countries where they[foreigners] come from and where they may have travelled to\u2026,\u201d Mr. Ablakwa added.<\/p>\n<p>The Minister further revealed that tertiary institution and other health firms will benefit from the 10,000 Personal Protective Equipment (PPP) which will arrive in the country this week.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>By: Marian Efe Ansah\/citifmonline.com\/Ghana<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>All tertiary institutions in the country will establish Ebola screening and isolation centres on their various campuses to curb a possible outbreak of the disease in the country.
