Chief Executive Officer of McDan Shipping, Daniel Makorley, has been enskinned as Unity Chief in Tamale in the Northern Region.<\/p>\n

The honour was bestowed on him by the Chief of Tamale, Dakpema Naa Dawuni Alhassan at his Palace.<\/p>\n

Daniel Makorley, who was enskinned on Saturday at a colourful ceremony, will be known as Gubgani-Naa [Unity Chief].<\/p>\n

The event was not only graced by the Chief and people of Tamale, but also by his relatives and friends.<\/p>\n

McDan CEO donates Desks to La Presby SHS <\/strong><\/p>\n

Following series of reports by\u00a0Citi News<\/strong>\u00a0on the dire need for desks by first-year students of the La Presbyterian Senior High School, government and private entities moved in to address the problem.<\/p>\n

Citi News<\/strong> had\u00a0earlier reported that, students were sitting on\u00a0cement blocks<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>due to the lack of furniture, following the increase in the number of students under the government\u2019s Free Senior High School programme.<\/p>\n

First to donate\u00a0one hundred desks<\/span>\u00a0<\/a><\/strong>to the school was the Chief Executive Officer of McDan Shipping, Daniel Mckorley, who promised to donate more after assessing the situation at the school.<\/p>\n
