Kane nominated for FIFA awards"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"sp-story-body__introduction\">Harry Kane is one of four current Premier League players nominated for the Best Fifa Men\u2019s Player 2017 award.<\/p>\n<p>The Tottenham striker joins Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez and Chelsea midfielders Eden Hazard and N\u2019Golo Kante on a shortlist of 24.<\/p>\n<p>Last year\u2019s winner, Real Madrid\u2019s Cristiano Ronaldo, is nominated, as are Lionel Messi of Barcelona and Paris St-Germain\u2019s world record signing Neymar.<\/p>\n<p>Zlatan Ibrahimovic, a Manchester United player last term, also makes the list.<\/p>\n<p>The winners will be decided by a jury of club and international coaches, media representatives and fans.<\/p>\n<p>Voting closes on 7 September and the winners will be announced at an awards ceremony in London on 23 October.<\/p>\n<p>Fifa, football\u2019s world governing body, is running its awards for the second year since\u00a0ending its association\u00a0with France Football\u2019s Ballon d\u2019Or in September 2016.<\/p>\n<p>The French magazine continues to run its own awards.<\/p>\n<p>Four Premier League managers are in the running for the men\u2019s coach award.<\/p>\n<p><b>Antonio Conte<\/b>\u00a0is nominated following Chelsea\u2019s\u00a0Premier League title win\u00a0in May.<\/p>\n<p>He goes up against Manchester United manager\u00a0<b>Jose Mourinho, Pep Guardiola<\/b>\u00a0of Manchester City and Tottenham boss\u00a0<b>Mauricio Pochettino.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>They face competition from La Liga and European title-winning Real Madrid coach\u00a0<b>Zinedine Zidane,\u00a0<\/b>former Barcelona boss\u00a0<b>Luis Enrique\u00a0<\/b>and Germany\u2019s national coach\u00a0<b>Joachim Low.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Manchester City defender\u00a0<b>Lucy Bronze\u00a0<\/b>and Arsenal forward\u00a0<b>Jodie Taylor\u00a0<\/b>are nominated for the women\u2019s player of the year award.<\/p>\n<p>They are joined by last year\u2019s Fifa award-winner, Houston Dash midfielder\u00a0<b>Carli Lloyd,<\/b>\u00a0who had a short-term loan spell with City last season.<\/p>\n<p>Also on the list are Barcelona forward\u00a0<b>Lieke Martens<\/b>\u00a0and Arsenal striker\u00a0<b>Vivianne Miedema,<\/b>\u00a0both\u00a0Women\u2019s Euro 2017 winners\u00a0with the Netherlands.<\/p>\n<p>Chelsea Ladies manager\u00a0<b>Emma Hayes<\/b>\u00a0has been nominated for the women\u2019s coach award, after leading her side to the\u00a0Women\u2019s Super League One Spring Series\u00a0in June.<\/p>\n<p>She goes up against six national team managers: Austria\u2019s Dominik Thalhammer, France coach Olivier Echouafni, Denmark manager Nils Nielsen, North Korea\u2019s Hwang Yong-bong, Nigeria\u2019s Florence Omagbemi and Netherlands boss Sarina Wiegman.<\/p>\n<p>Also
