The Deputy Minister of Education in-charge of Tertiary Education, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, will\u00a0meet \u00a0the leadership of the Polytechnic Teachers Association of Ghana (POTAG) on Thursday in a bid to find a solution to end the Association\u2019s two- month old strike.<\/p>\n
Polytechnic teachers have been on strike since May in protest of the \u201cunwillingness on the part of government to pay their Book and Research Allowance\u201d for the 2013\/2014 academic year.<\/p>\n
POTAG, on Tuesday, met with members of the Parliamentary Select Committee to deliberate on the issue.<\/p>\n
