How can I submit my essay?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>ANS:<\/strong> Post it to<br \/>\n<em>\u2018The Literacy Challenge\u2019<\/em><br \/>\n<em> P.O. Box GP 14123<\/em><br \/>\n<em> Accra \u2013 Central<\/em><\/p>\n<p>OR<\/p>\n<p>Drop it off at the Front Desk of <em>Citi FM (Adabraka)<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>4. What are the general guidelines for essays that are to be submitted?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>ANS:<br \/>\n<\/strong>~ Write a letter to the President of the Republic of Ghana, suggesting to him how to make Accra the cleanest city in Africa.<br \/>\n~ Letter must not be less than 600 words long<br \/>\n~ Script must be in your own handwriting<br \/>\n~ Script must be endorsed by a Parent\/ Guardian<br \/>\n~ Add your FULL contact details<\/p>\n<p><strong>5. When does The Literacy Challenge end?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>ANS:<\/strong> Saturday, 7th October, 2017 (The same day as the Level III Quiz)<\/p>\n<p><strong>6. Do I need to pay or to buy forms to participate?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>ANS:<\/strong> No, <em>The Literacy Challenge<\/em> is free and open for participation for all <em>Junior High School Students<\/em>. Your essay on the given topic is what gets you into the competition.<\/p>\n<p><strong>7. Will Level III of the Challenge be live on air?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>ANS:<\/strong> Yes, it will.<\/p>\n<p><strong>8. Is the Literacy Challenge the same as The Write-Away Contest?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>ANS:<\/strong> The Literacy Challenge is an improved version of the Write-Away Contest. This targets a wider range of audiences and more actively engages students from all 10 regions of Ghana. It also has 3 Levels of competition which challenges participants to do more, beyond just writing.<\/p>\n<p><strong>9. What are the prizes to be won?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>ANS:<\/strong>3rd Prize: GHc3,000<br \/>\n2nd Prize: GHc5,000<br \/>\n1st Prize: GHc10,000<\/p>\n<p>Also, all of the <em>Top 50<\/em> contestants will receive cash prizes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>10.
