{"id":335431,"date":"2017-07-10T20:32:15","date_gmt":"2017-07-10T20:32:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=335431"},"modified":"2017-07-10T20:32:15","modified_gmt":"2017-07-10T20:32:15","slug":"akufo-addo-makes-pncs-edward-mahama-ambassador-at-large","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=335431","title":{"rendered":"Akufo-Addo makes PNC&#8217;s Edward Mahama Ambassador-at-Large"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>President Akufo-Addo has appointed the 2016 Flagbearer of the People\u2019s National Convention (PNC), Edward Nasigri Mahama as an Ambassador-at-Large.<\/p>\n<p>He was among 21 others who have been appointed to represent Ghana as diplomats in other countries.<\/p>\n<p>They were all sworn in by the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>An ambassador-at-large is an ambassador with special duties but not appointed to a particular country.<\/p>\n<p>Others who were also part of the 22 sworn in include former Attorney General, Ayikoi Otoo is to represent Ghana in Canada, George Ayisi Boateng; South Africa and Mercy Bampoe Addo for Malta.<\/p>\n<p>Others include Salma Francess Mancell-Egala; Turkey, Paul Oko; Egypt, Kwasi Owusu Yeboa; Togo, Miss Sophia Horner-Sam; Netherlands, Mrs Amerleey Olennu; Denmark, Mrs. Elizabeth Salamtu; Namibia, Gen.
