The CHG90 monitor has HDR technology usually reserved for televisions that “showcases games exactly as developers intended” with improved color and contrast.<\/p>\n
\u201cGamers want to feel completely immersed when they play, and our new monitors provide the most stunning visuals to deliver the ultimate gaming experience,\u201d Samsung’s vice president for product marketing Andrew Sivori said in a statement. \u201cThese QLED gaming monitors represent the future of gaming for both casual and dedicated players alike, and we\u2019re confident that our innovative design and state-of-the-art features will enhance the entire gaming arena.\u201d<\/p>\n
Samsung first revealed its QLED Quantum Dot technology at CES back in January.<\/p>\n
The CHG90 has a 32:9 aspect ratio, so you can see full game scenes. It also has a 1,800R curvature and 178-degree viewing angle \u2014 like a better version of what you get when combining smaller monitors together. Samsung says the screen is perfect for first-person action-heavy games.<\/p>\n
The monitor costs $1,499 and is available for preorder. Smaller displays \u2014 32-inch and 27-inch \u2014 cost $699 and $599.<\/p>\n
