Mr Hamid said when done, all communication platforms and mediums of government institutions such as signboards, letterheads, websites and complimentary cards would have the same design for a \u201cuniform look and feel.\u201d<\/p>\n
He said communication was the live-wire of every enterprise in the 21st century hence the need for a strong information machinery to market the country\u2019s values and unique selling points.<\/p>\n
Mr Hamid said the initiative was under government\u2019s new \u201cGhanaian Project\u201d to communicate how Ghanaians wanted to be identified and what they stood for.<\/p>\n
He said the project was important for the citizenry to understand that Ghana was important and above any ethnic and political considerations.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe Ghanaian Project is a supreme goal. It looks at Ghana beyond aid \u2026and Ghana first. If Ghana works well, it doesn\u2019t matter which political or ethnic group one belongs too,\u201d the Minister stated.<\/p>\n
The retreat was to examine the 2017 work plan of the agencies under the Ministry of Information and to develop \u201cTeam Building Strategies.\u201d<\/p>\n
The participants were also given an update on the Right to Information Bill.<\/p>\n
