{"id":301519,"date":"2017-03-14T06:00:03","date_gmt":"2017-03-14T06:00:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=301519"},"modified":"2017-03-14T06:00:03","modified_gmt":"2017-03-14T06:00:03","slug":"first-lady-donates-to-orphanage-at-amasaman","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=301519","title":{"rendered":"First Lady donates to orphanage at Amasaman"},"content":{"rendered":"<p id=\"yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1489429110269_6270\" class=\"yiv2844611671MsoNormal\">As part of activities to mark her 66th birthday, the First Lady, Rebecca Akufo-Addo, donated some items to the Chance for Children home at Amasaman on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p id=\"yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1489429110269_6255\" class=\"yiv2844611671MsoNormal\"><span id=\"yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1489429110269_6254\">The international Non-Governmental Organisation, which is co-operated by a Ghanaian and a Swiss, seeks to among other things, reintegrate street children with their families.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv2844611671MsoNormal\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-301520\" src=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/First-Lady-2.jpg\" alt=\"first-lady-2\" width=\"749\" height=\"499\" \/><\/p>\n<p id=\"yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1489429110269_6261\" class=\"yiv2844611671MsoNormal\"><span id=\"yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1489429110269_6260\">Speaking during the delivery of the items, the first lady assured the institution of more support from her husband, President Akuffo-Addo as well as the ruling government.<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1489429110269_6263\" class=\"yiv2844611671MsoNormal\"><span id=\"yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1489429110269_6262\">\u201cI know things are not easy for places like this in getting assistance but God has been good to me, I am 66 years old today. I pray God blesses all of you and that you also enjoy all the things I have brought to you.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv2844611671MsoNormal\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-301522\" src=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/First-Lady-4.jpg\" alt=\"first-lady-4\" width=\"803\" height=\"535\" \/><\/p>\n<p id=\"yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1489429110269_6265\" class=\"yiv2844611671MsoNormal\"><span id=\"yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1489429110269_6264\">I bring greetings from the President, Nana Akuffo Addo.
