{"id":291072,"date":"2017-02-04T08:32:47","date_gmt":"2017-02-04T08:32:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=291072"},"modified":"2017-02-04T08:32:47","modified_gmt":"2017-02-04T08:32:47","slug":"oman-fm-journalist-survives-shooting-after-robbery-attack","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=291072","title":{"rendered":"Oman FM journalist survives shooting after robbery attack"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A broadcast journalist with Accra-based Oman FM, escaped death on Thursday night after\u00a0he was shot by suspected\u00a0armed robbers.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"_5yl5\">The journalist, Michael Craigg Afful, who lives at official town, a suburb of Ashaiman with his wife and other relatives, was rushed to the Tema General Hospital for treatment, and has since been discharged.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"_5yl5\">According to him, the incident occurred around 2:00am on Friday, when he heard some movements on his compound. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/2017\/02\/04\/gtp-constructs-dinning-hall-for-tema-community-4-no-2-primary\/injure-2\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-291058\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-291058\" src=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/Injure-2.jpg\" alt=\"injure-2\" width=\"960\" height=\"576\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"_5yl5\">He said when he got up to find out what was happening, \u00a0the armed robbers had already broken into his room through the main entrance.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>He said was pushed to the floor and asked to surrender all the money he had.
