{"id":281713,"date":"2017-01-04T18:37:35","date_gmt":"2017-01-04T18:37:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=281713"},"modified":"2017-01-04T18:37:35","modified_gmt":"2017-01-04T18:37:35","slug":"china-supports-ghanas-parliament-with-security-equipment","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=281713","title":{"rendered":"China supports Ghana&#8217;s Parliament with security equipment"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Chinese government has donated security installations to Ghana\u2019s Parliament, worth about $288,000.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0security systems donated\u00a0comprise, 3 sets of X-ray baggage scanners, 3 sets of walk through metal detectors, 100 sets of hand-held metal detectors and a human body security detector installed by Chinese engineers.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/69adeb9a-688f-4930-a461-1fc835cffefc.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-281726\" src=\"http:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/69adeb9a-688f-4930-a461-1fc835cffefc.jpg\" alt=\"69adeb9a-688f-4930-a461-1fc835cffefc\" width=\"600\" height=\"409\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>At a short ceremony to hand over the equipment at the Parliament house, the Chinese Ambassador to Ghana, Sun Baohung, said the donation will improve security at the house.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Apart from conducting more ground projects to improve people\u2019s livelihood, China will do more to answer Ghana\u2019s appeal for job creation and industrialization.
